The air filter box lid also incorporates a hood seal adaptor that funnels air from a hood mounted snorkel which extends up the passenger side of the vehicle to the roof line. For what it's worth, the quality of the hose seemed good, so that's why I gave 3 stars, but: It did not fit my e90 2006 330i, n52 engine. Took the car to the shop to replace broken OEM hose. I provided the hose. It did not fit, so I ended up paying the shop for a hose, and probably extra time because it sat on the lift waiting for the one they ordered.

The part appears decently made in China. The end that terminates below the oil filter would not mount (too tight). I gently sanded the o-ring groove, lubricated and I put the part in freezer.
