The wood is thin but solid and the total build took under 45 minutes. and is pretty sturdy. It was a little difficult to screw the shelves into the wall but it has held secure since.

The shelves came with plastic anchors and wood screws to mount them on the wall, but my husband and I chose molly-bolts for a more permanent and safer installation. The were easy to put together and not difficult to mount on the wall, but you need two people. The shelves are a good width and depth for what I am using them for. The measurements are as shown. They look nice on the wall of our guest room for out grandchildren and house their books on the lower shelves and other books and decor on the upper shelves which makes it nice. We can still display favorite items and keep them out of their reach - for now!
